Soul Cap describes itself as “hair care for the volume-blessed.” When founders Michael Chapman and Toks Ahmed-Salawudeen met a woman with Afro hair who was struggling with her swimming cap, they realised there was a gap in the market and started making their own. Now they campaign to break down barriers that have kept BAME athletes from pursuing the sport (see: their #BlackGirlsDontSwim campaign with Team GB Swimmer Alice Dearing).
